			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I’m temporarily pinching <a href="http://robaroundbooks.com/tag/daily-bookshot/">Daily Bookshot @ Rob Around Books</a>, because I couldn’t resist posting a photograph of this one!</p>

<p>When I was selecting my books for R.I.P IV I just knew that, We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson, had to be among them, so I quickly paid a visit to my local library’s web-portal and was excited to find a copy available, even if it was located in the mysterious, Bibliographic Services department…</p>
<p>Imagine my shock when the last person to borrow the book before me, returned it in 1977… Thirty two years ago!!! I was 3! (Go on do the sums I’ll let you. <img src='http://www.bartsbookshelf.co.uk/bookshelf/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> )</p>
<p>It’s a bit yellowed and worn, but it’s was very cool to be reading something that hasn’t likely been opened very often in nearly as long as I’ve been alive.</p>
<p>And the title I&#8217;ve given the post is a tad unfair, as it turns out, Bibliographic Services, is an archiving department. <img src='http://www.bartsbookshelf.co.uk/bookshelf/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>There were some cool Lending Rules posted on to the inside cover as well.</p>
