In a move that is sure to increase the size of many a reader’s wishlist (including mine!) UK national newspaper, The Guardian has announced the longlist for it’s annual Children’s Fiction prize.

Well, the votes have been tallied and verified, and in a ceremony last night at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel the winners of the 2009 Galaxy British Book Awards were announced.
