Today’s Top Ten Tuesday theme, could not be any more apt. There’s no official event or challenge, but every February a few like-minded bloggers spend the month reading comics and graphic novels. As you’ll see later in this post, I definitely need to, as my GN TBR is growing beyond the confines of its shelf!

But first, here are ten of my favourite comics and graphic novels:
(links will take you to my reviews. I hope you are able to check a few out, especially if any of these are new to you!)

Lumberjanes by Noelle Stevenson

Great characters, and artwork, just wonderful fun.

The Fox and the Star by Coralie Bickford-Smith

A beautiful work of art!

Lazarus by Greg Rucka

Get’s better with every volume!

Saga by Brian K Vaughn

An epic, and probably already a classic.

Morning Glories by Nick Spencer

More twisty than a twisty thing!

Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi

Aimed at younger readers than most of this list, but I just love the characters and artwork.

Goliath by Tom Gauld

Poignant and moving it’s one of my favourite graphic novels

Foiled by Jane Yolen

Not my favourite ‘story wise’ but Mike Cavallaro’s artwork I loved!

Mouse Guard by David Petersen

One of the first graphic novels I got into when I started reading them again.

Cairo by G Willow Wilson

A fun adventure through the streets of Cairo.

Here is a selection of my graphic novels book-pile. There are a few extras that have migrated onto other shelves as well. So, I really hope I can make my way through a good chunk of them!
