IMM: The Cover Lust Edition

The Auschwitz Violin by Maria Àngels Anglada: Isn’t this just a fantastic and atmospheric cover?I thought so when I spotted it in Waterstones the other day, and it sounded such a powerful story, I couldn’t resist. 🙂

Wither by Lauren DeStefano: This one is Steph Su’s fault for posting about this utterly gorgeous cover a while back, and then I learned it was a dystopian, it wasn’t going anywhere but the wishlist. This one’s an e-ARC from Simon and Schuster’s Galley Grab program, but I’d really love to get my hands on a proper copy when it’s released. (Point to Steph Su)

Cryer’s Cross by Lisa McMann: I first added this one to my wishlist, when Alex highlighted in his Future Favorites feature back in August, it was an author I’d heard of before, but it was the wonderfully creepy cover and matching plot, and when I spotted it on Simon and Schuster’s Galley Grab a few days ago, it really sealed its fate! (Bad Bloggers point to Alex.)

Beyonders: A World Without  Heroes by Brandon Mull: I’ve heard really good things about his Fablehaven books series, so when I saw this one as well from Simon and Schuster, I decided to apply for the e-ARC of this one as well.

Funnily enough, The Auschwitz Violin by Maria Àngels Anglada caught my eye in Waterstones too, but I didn’t get it. I’d be interested to read what you think of it.

The Auschwitz Violin looks good, I’ve mentally added it to my list. Of course I have a ton of books on my mental list 🙂
