This month’s Where in the World Are You Reading is “Waiting” and is being hosted by Lisa:
This month’s theme is a fun one, almost a free form one. This month we want to see where you read while you are waiting. Waiting rooms, oil changes, waiting for the water to boil? Everyone waits for something and I know you all keep books around for any chance to pick it up. So, take a quick picture of where you’re waiting.

Most of my ‘waiting’ reading is done whilst waiting for a bus home from work. Mostly that is actually at the bus-stop. But on occasion, and if I have a little while to wait, or it’s raining, or it’s…{insert reason here*} I’ll call in to my favourite bar for a quiet drink and read a page or three.
Look I have to walk past, every day, it’d be rude not to call in every so often!

Ha!! Absolutely love the pictures. And you’re absolutely right that it would be rude not to stop in every once in a while and do your waiting in the pub. Thanks for joining the fun!
I agree, it would be rude!
I mostly read while waiting for my boys’ school and nursery to finish. Looks a bit antisocial surrounded by so many other people, but that’s just me, I guess!
Totally rude! The bars of the world need more polite people like you.
I’ve always wished I had a daily commute on a train or bus. I’m sure there would be bad parts too, but I would love to have the time to read!
Really, they should set you up with a little camera so you can see the bus down the block and run out to meet it. Then you could wait inside EVERY day.
I like your way of thinking!
And the pubs in England are some of the coziest and most inviting– how could you NOT go in?
