Sunday Salon: Listening and Reading

Sunday Salon: Listening and Reading

Not done a Sunday Salon post for a while, so I thought it was about time. Sunday Salon: Listening and Reading

I’m starting the day listening to the audiobook of Plain Kate by Erin Bow. Or at least for the current bit relistening… I had it playing the other day and realised that I actually hadn’t been listening for the last hour or so. A fact proved that I don’t remember anything of what I’ve heard this morning!

I’ll continue with this while I make breakfast, and afterwards while I scan a batch of old photos onto my computer.

Later, I want to finish Piercing by Ryu Murakami, which while it doesn’t quite match up to its opening scene, is proving to be an intriguing if surreal read.

I then will have the arduous task to deciding what book to crack open next!

That happens to me with audiobooks once in a while and usually means I need a break from whatever book I’m listening to. I haven’t heard of Plain Kate, so I’ll be interested to see your review of it.
