I knew I’d never be able to deal with a book acquiring ban, so I haven’t signed up for any of the challenges going around that are of that nature. When I get rid of books more just seem to show up even if I haven’t requested them, and then there’s always paperbackswap, and don’t get me started on the used book shelf at the library.

Nice shelves you have there I have to admit that I’ve been good and not paid for any new books – but I keep receiving them from publishers so the pile is still growing at an alarming pace lol

I suck at my own (continual) self imposed book buying bans! Granted I always post books I’ve read to be swapped out as soon as I’ve read them to make up for the new swappees I get in but that means I am not supposed to buy new ones, yet I do, I always do Good job with your ban! And great new bookcase!

OH Darren you just don’t want to know how bad I’ve been failing as of late :p Let’s just say that as of the last vlog I’ve had 10 MORE books come into the house and I’m waitin on 9 more to come from BookCloseouts. BUT BUT BUT! I did just get rid of 82 BOOKS from my shelves last nigh!!! Total win!!! So now I’m down to owning just over 600 books >> BTW, the shelves look EXCELLENT

I think it’s the Harry Potter books fault, they’ve been sitting there quietly on my shelves, when all the time they have been teaching all the other books to Apparate, who in turn have taught their friends. Which I why I have so many books mysteriously appearing there…

At least that’s my excuse!
