*sigh* I love reading your blog, it makes me feel almost virtuous that my TBR shelf is a single shelf!

Yours is by far my favourite of these that I’ve seen!
I have a TBR case too if it makes you feel better.

Your TBR is so nicely organized. I have nearly the same number of books, (139, as of this afternoon), but they’re just shoved in willy-nilly and I haven’t the heart to arrange them properly. Sigh.

LOL like it!
You have a TBR pile to rival mine! I’ve only got 130 in my bedside stacks, and I feel it’s overwhelming.

Hey, I’m not worried. It’s only about 14 months worth of reading… If I don’t add anything more to it, during that time… If I don’t add anything more to it…
Bugger!
ok, you win!!! i’m at 103 according to Librarything
Melanie´s last blog ..A Certain Slant of Light
Ah, yes. But don’t forget all those you have ‘forgotten’ to add in there!
How are you not a weeping mass in the corner, whelmed by your TBR shelf that might come alive and EAT YOU?
I have 53 books on my shelf and that’s daunting enough I won’t buy anymore books! You win! /o\

Well I was doing until just now!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
That’s such a nicely organized TBR pile. For some reason it seems so much more manageable my jumbled assortment.
Christina´s last blog ..Happy Independence Day!
Ten minutes beforehand mine was all over the place as well.
So don’t feel too bad!
More like pile of fantastic reads to come! I have more than twice as many on mine. =(

Thanks, more comments like this one to make me feel better, please!
Read Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel! Quickly! you’re missing out.
Mines even larger than that, I’m not sure I would want to count
katrina´s last blog ..My Thoughts: The Whale Rider by Witi Ihimaera
It’s been on my shelves ever since it came out and I’ve never read any more than the first few pages. Shocking isn’t it?!
Wow. And I thought I was bad.

And, you can still hear them in their boxes if you listen carefully…
“Chris… Chris… Don’t you like us anymore, Chris?…”
I know! I am ashamed of my TBR pile at times, but they are all on my pretty shelves not feeling neglected. I feel bad for Chris’ books.
Just kidding! (Although, I am glad I am not the only person that teases Chris. lol)

Ok you two! I’m going to come set up my TBR books at your houses and you can see how overwhelming it feels :p

Ah, but they’d still be your TBR books, not mine. So, not an issue!
(And more than that a very fine set of books to choose from!)
Bart´s last blog ..The Wooden Sea by Jonathan Carroll
I choose not to get overwhelmed. I like to think that I am stockpiling for the inevitable zombie virus that will force me to hide out in my basement.
Hilarie´s last blog ..Friday Finds
Sounds very reasonable to me! I like your thinking!
Nah, I see nothing to be ashamed of there. Plus, if I did, I’d be drowning in shame as well as books, given the current state of my pile. Piles. Okay, case. Well, cases.

Fyrefly´s last blog ..Ian McEwan – On Chesil Beach
There seems to be a bit of a pandemic sweeping the book bloggers!
My TBR pile is bigger! So, no worries. lol
Just out of curiosity, would you be interested in reading/reviewing ‘A Long Way Down’ by Hornby together? I like buddy reads and that book is on my ’soon to read’ horizon. Tweet me if you are interested. I forget to check comments…
Kailana´s last blog ..Sunday Book Coveting… I Bought Books!
Hi there! I’m new here. Lovely place you have.
Like others here, I admire a nicely shelved TBR case. I think I’m currently pushing double your numbers plus about 20 library books. I agree with commenters who view TBRs as something to anticipate as opposed to something to dread. My TBR keeps me happy!

Welcome!
That is definitely a TBR pile/case. Do you still keep adding to it as well though?
Naturally I add titles! LOL
No matter how many promises I make myself I always cave in to the “just one more won’t hurt” impulse.

TBR envy! Can I go back to having your number of books on my TBR pile? And they’re so neat and nicely organised! Mine are all over the place! (Including the floor. Ahem. I don’t suppose you can come over and organise my shelves for me, can you? ^-~)
I recommend The Wood Wife and The Lions of Al-Rassan, though. Both are good books and I’m curious what you make of them!
Shanra´s last blog ..Half-Yearly Bests and All-Time Faves
Good for you! You were daring enough to count

christina´s last blog ..Back (with bunches of books!)
I am not a book buyer, so I can’t even imagine having that many unread books on my shelf. I would have loved it when I was 13, though. Back then, I didn’t have the benefit of the internet or cable TV and the library was far away. I was so bored at times that I would pore over manuals on DIY plumbling just to have something to read. A TBR stack like yours would have been a godsend!

Oh my – that’s a rather large TBR… unfortunately the bookcase holding mine is much bigger and I’ve run out of space! I need t take a year off work just to get through them all LOL
