Your TBR is so nicely organized. I have nearly the same number of books, (139, as of this afternoon), but they’re just shoved in willy-nilly and I haven’t the heart to arrange them properly. Sigh.

How are you not a weeping mass in the corner, whelmed by your TBR shelf that might come alive and EAT YOU?

I have 53 books on my shelf and that’s daunting enough I won’t buy anymore books! You win! /o\

That’s such a nicely organized TBR pile. For some reason it seems so much more manageable my jumbled assortment.

Nah, I see nothing to be ashamed of there. Plus, if I did, I’d be drowning in shame as well as books, given the current state of my pile. Piles. Okay, case. Well, cases. :)

Just out of curiosity, would you be interested in reading/reviewing ‘A Long Way Down’ by Hornby together? I like buddy reads and that book is on my ’soon to read’ horizon. Tweet me if you are interested. I forget to check comments…

Hi there! I’m new here. Lovely place you have. :)

Like others here, I admire a nicely shelved TBR case. I think I’m currently pushing double your numbers plus about 20 library books. I agree with commenters who view TBRs as something to anticipate as opposed to something to dread. My TBR keeps me happy!

TBR envy! Can I go back to having your number of books on my TBR pile? And they’re so neat and nicely organised! Mine are all over the place! (Including the floor. Ahem. I don’t suppose you can come over and organise my shelves for me, can you? ^-~)

I recommend The Wood Wife and The Lions of Al-Rassan, though. Both are good books and I’m curious what you make of them!

I am not a book buyer, so I can’t even imagine having that many unread books on my shelf. I would have loved it when I was 13, though. Back then, I didn’t have the benefit of the internet or cable TV and the library was far away. I was so bored at times that I would pore over manuals on DIY plumbling just to have something to read. A TBR stack like yours would have been a godsend!
