Booking Through Thursday: Book Gluttony! (Bring it on!)
Mariel suggested this week’s question
Book Gluttony! Are your eyes bigger than your book belly? Do you have a habit of buying up books far quicker than you could possibly read them? Have you had to curb your book buying habits until you can catch up with yourself? Or are you a controlled buyer, only purchasing books when you have run out of things to read?
I’m perfectly controlled with my book aquisitions, thank-you very much!…
Ahem… Yeah right! Pull the other one it plays the national antham.
As my recent tweet alludes to, I only have to go within 10 foot of a bookshop to feel temptation begin to raise its sneaky little head.
So, yes, books come into this house very much quicker than I could ever hope to read them, but books are more than just objects to be read, are they not? A good full bookshelf decorates a room far better than any expensive trinket. Well at least that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it

My eyes are definitely too big, I have a little pile waiting for me. I told myself no more buying books until you have read them all.. then I ended up at the the library instead :S
You have a very legitimate excuse and it’s worth sticking to
I’m a book glutton too that is without counting my ebooks

Good point about the look of books and bookshelves. Except mine are so overloaded that they look very cluttered. And the old paper box I have crammed with books doesn’t look very appealing either. Hmmm.
At least we’re all in good company.

That’s artfully cluttered and crammed!
