A comment on someone else’s BTT question this week inspired this question:

Do you read any author’s blogs? If so, are you looking for information on their next project? On the author personally? Something else?

I regularly read two or three authors blogs, and do so because usually they’re just fun and interesting to read, just as any favourite blog would be, but also because, it is interesting to keep up to date on their various projects.

Neil Gaiman, probably one of the most popular author blogs on the net, with posts most days, covering, waiting in airports, bee keeping, pet cats and dogs, and his writing for books, comics and films. What’s not to like? Oh and he nearly killed me last year when he linked to my review of The Graveyard Book!

Whatever, John Scalzi’s blog. Only recently discovered this one, after reading Old Man’s Wat earlier this, year, with multiple posts most days covering ‘whatever’ he wants to talk about at the time, there is always something good to read on this one.

Bow, James Bow, Canadian young adults author, James Bow is probably the longest standing member of my blog roll, from early in my Harry Potter fanfiction days (around 2004 onwards) has a mix of transport, politics and the odd book review in his blog, but he also covers his writing, and it was a great delight watching his Unwritten Girl series first start to develop and take shape, and then eventually get published!
