24 Hour Read-a-Thon Giveaway

With the upcoming 24 Hour Read-a-Thon next weekend, I’ve been collecting some books particularly for the occasion, and all of them are what look like, good short reads – perfect for both the event and boosting my yearly books read count! and I’ve decided to hold a read-a-thon giveaway for them as well!

The way this will work is: simply, each one I manage to read on the day will go in to a pool of books to be given away. Periodically during the 24 hours, I’ll draw a winner and a book out of a hat, and they’ll win that book! Names stay in the hat throughout the ‘thon so, you definitely have a chance of snagging more than one book!

How to enter.

Either read and comment on any one of my review posts during the 24 hours of the read-a-thon (12:00 GMT 18/10 to 12:00 GMT 19/10 – comments before or after this time will not be entered). Or, between now and the end of the event, post about the giveaway on your blogs, and then let me know in the comments section of this post, for a bonus 2 entries. Easy!

This is open worldwide (although I do ask you have some patience in me getting them posted!) and winners will be notified in the comments section of this post first and then by email (check the ‘Subscribe’ box to get an email each time a comment is added) and all wins must be claimed by the 25th Oct)

Fantastic! I’m making you the first person I officially remind about the Read-a-Thon because I don’t think you will forget. Well, and I try to show favor to anyone reading Margaret Atwood….. ANYWAY – to help the cheerleaders along, I’ve created this page, and invite you to come over and check it out!

Gorgeous looking books. Never heard of that Margaret Atwood one. So what time does the read-a-thon happen in the UK? I can’t participate for 24 hours, as I have to go to work in a bar and have school stuff, but I’m gonna try and do a substantial block of reading amd follow along the events

The read-a-thon starts at noon over here in the UK (12:00 GMT)

Ooh, I wonder if putting you in the prize list post counts as posting about it? I’m eying that Atwood, but the Sagan and Coetzee are on my wishlist already.
